I have a 1998 Evinrude, E40TLEU, Serial 04240648, that started to have a low idle miss this weekend. Here's what happened, I took the pontoon out to fish, generally ran close to WOT and was running fine. Then I moved a few times and decided to troll. When I got down to 2K RPM it started to miss so I went to WOT, 49K, and it ran fine. Going back down to 2K, it misses. After I docked it wouldn't run lower than 2.5K.<br /><br />I pulled the plugs and they were not fouled, if fact no oil deposits, Plugs have only 20 hours Max.<br /><br />Where is a good place to start looking?
