Me again still can't get this damn Merc running. Haven't had a lot of experience with this peticular motor. 2010 Merc, 60 hp outboard with EFI, 4 stroke.
My big question is, doesn't the fuel system high pressure pump in the VST get it's running pressure totally from the fuel regulator mounted directly on top in line with pump. Have had 2 pumps original would only put out 30 psi at 1000 rpm, just for the hell of it installed a new pump only to get just 20 psi. No fuel leaks. To Also vacuum fuel pup putting out 4-5 psi.
One other thing the IAC should it have vacuum all the time on top port. Makes a pulsing suction noise and if you hold you finger over port engine idles rough and low.
I know this is a lot but when you turn key to on. Beeper alarm beeps 8 times if you leave key on while working on motor after 5min or so beeps repeat?
Where do you find the meaning of these beeps. I know constant is serious and 1 beep let's you know everything is ready to go. It's all the beeps in between that no one tells you what they are.
Pulling my hair out. Fuel regulator oem 892267A50 N/A till mid July from factory.
Please any help would be really appreciated.
