My dad recently gave me his boat from LA - it had separate titles and registrations for the boat & the trailer, and the trailer has a license plate. <br /><br />Here in TX I had to get separate titles for the boat and motor and registration for the boat from Parks & Wildlife, then get the trailer tag from DMV.
