loud motors

I have 2 motorguide brute 12/24 41 lb. thrust trolling motors and they are both making alot of noise. Is there a way I can quiet them down?

it sounds like your motors are going bad pull off the prop and take the screws out and pull out the armiture my guess water has creeped in and started rusting the armiture.
