Does anybody offer a kit of parts that you can order that includes all the gaskets, o rings, lube, etc. that would be required after you remove your
outdrive at seasons end? Seems like it would make rounding up all those
parts in one mouse click would an L of allot easier without possibly missing
some little do hickey ya forgot to order..... Water pumps and impeller included too ! Why not go the whole 9?
Mine is the merc alpha 1.

Never seen anything like that, but I bet if you made a list of all the items and part numbers you need/want for your drive or engine, it would keep you from forgetting anything next time.

You would not need a whole tube of bearing or spline grease every time.....
It would be nice if they packed the gear lube in a 1 liter size though....​

Well then , My response would for those Alpha 1 merc owners- DIY'ers to post a parts list just by discription and part number for the whole shootin match. And yes you have to have a thrix pack o grease guns at the ready.
All you been there and done thats got a list on a 88 model year??

1 quart.....
& it is not quite enough.....
Will a liter fill your Alpha drive?...
It takes a little more than 1 quart, so ya gotta buy an extra one........

Not sure of the part number, but the Merc dealer here sells sierra parts as well as OEM. Sierra has a gasket/oring kit I get for an 87 Alpha One for about 7 bucks. Lube is seperate. Piecing it together with OEM is closer to twenty bucks.

Ayuh,........ It should be 18-2614..........
