HI, I just picked up a loose 2003 90 hp evinrude Ficht. It needed some tlc. when I was over looking the oil pump I noticed one of the quick connectors on the oil manifold was missing. there is four of them for each cylinder and one goes into the fuel inlet line. Now all I casn see is the small check valve on the bottom of the port that is missing the housing to keep the house in place. from what I see on the others , its a mall metal ring with a plastic ring that pushes against some barbs to release the outlet hose. Can someone tell me if I can purchase this insert rather than spend $500 on a new pump. I can go down a year where they used the brass manifold and hose barbs. But I would like to fix what I have.
Thanks

Go to the top secret files at the beginning of this forum and look for salvage yards.
