RIP little Maggie. this is my little dog, she sleeps in the bed with the admiral and I. woke Thursday morning, she did not.:blue:

Very sorry to hear.

We lost Beatle last year. Sad day(s). The Admiral kept saying the house felt empty.

Took a while but now have another boy.

the admiral never had kids and Maggie was her baby, so its been sad around here

Friend I seldom post much here but your post touched me.My sincere condolences to you and your wife for your loss. I loss my big girl (YUMYUM) (see pic) almost 16 months ago . It will take a while to grieve but at at least you know your dog had it as good as it gets...

So sorry about your pup coolbri . We had to put our 16 yr old black lab down not to long ago .
It's a hard thing to go through .

We never want them to go,, but peacefully going in their sleep is a blessing, they are active and happy right up to the end, no suffering.
Our lab went that way, but it is harder on us I think, we never had time to get used to the idea,,,no sickness, no visits to the vet,,,,

My sincere heart felt condolences go out to you and yours for your lost. I absolutely know what it feels like having to put our two Siberian Huskies down within less then six months of each other. The most heart wrenching experience anybody can imagine. Time will help but their absence will always be part of your life. But remember how good a life you gave your little girl. Nobody else would have treated her any better. :heart-borken:
