What is the best way to get a replacement key? It seemed like a simple key and there might not be but a few different keys. Can you tell Yamaha the serial number and get a key code?
Yes, any Yamaha dealer can order a key. Key number is stamped into the side of the key switch where the threads are. Should be 3 numbers. You can not tell which key was used by the motor serial number.
