Loss of RPM on 1999 130 HP Hondas

I have a twin engine glacier bay. Motors run normally for awhile then port motor drops to 4100 RPM at wot. starbord goes from 5000 normal wot to 6000. Some days it runs like that all day other days engines run normal for awhile then it happens. Someone told me it could be a bad coil - any help?
