Took our 1984 OMC 1.6 L 115 hp seadrive out today. It ran great for about 2 hours with no issues. It would top out around 35 mph at wot. After we refueled, it ran for about 5 minutes with no issues and then started to hesitate/lose power. It started seem like it was missing once every 30 seconds and then just increased in frequency. After a few minutes, it stayed at the lower power/speed almost constantly. It seemed that it was being starved for fuel and Every so often, it would jump as if it got a blast of fuel.
Couple ideas but not sure where to start.
The vro doesn't work so mix oil/gas at 50:1 ratio. We topped off tank and then added oil. Could the mixture not be mixed enough and causing the issue?
Other ideas?
