losing lower unit oil

Hey people, I wanted to catch yall up on my problem with the lower unit on my johnson 15 horse. I replaced all my seals and o rings including the shift shaft o ring and im still losing lower unit oil. Can I have a crack in the gearcase? I dont see one, and oil doesnt come out unless its running.

Some would pressure test a gearcase to find leaks if there are any.

first, drain oil and pressure check the gear case.

it could be the 4 screws holding in the bearing carrier
could be the o-rings on the bearing carrier
it could be a seal
it could be a crack

The lower unit bearing carrier on a 15 HP is not held in with 4 screws !!!

Mine was holding pressure and vacuum, and was still loosing oil by the bearing carrier oil seal. I'm working on that now.
