Lose of power on 1977/ 70 hp

Ok replaced water pump because of lose of power going at full speed than it backs right down like beat dog at full throttle in sounds bogg downed help fuel pump?????

What are you trying to say? loss of power shouldn't have anything to do with the water pump unless you overheated the engine. Teh test for a bad fuel pump is to squeeze the primer bulb when it bogs and see if it picks up. Can't understand what you are trying to say please clarify.

not a water pump issue , if dying at wot check to see if it's dropping a cylinder if fireman57 suggestion doesn't work out. havve you a tach? if so what rpm does it read at wot and when trouble happens.
