we have rebuilt carbs, added "seafoam carb cleaner" and after running full speed for about 15 minutes, engine just slowly shuts down like its not getting any gas. Replaced all plus and fuel lines. could vacuum operated fuel pump port clogged be causing the problem. we stuck a wire in the little port hole and had a hard time getting it in there - then we broke thru? we've worked on this same problem for a year. It idles smooth and compression is good. Just that after about 15 minutes at full speed, after it heats up, sometime the ball collapses and sometimes it doesn't? any ideas would be appreciated. compression is 130, 110, 130 and 128

You said sometimes the ball collapses. Are you referring to the primmer bulb on the fuel line? If you are then your fuel tank needs to be vented or you have a restriction in the fuel system before the primer bulb.

Good luck :)

just found the balls in the bulb were loose broken from the cages and floating in the bulb. do we need a primer bulb at all and i guess this could've been causing the problem with the loosing power after the 15 minutes or so at high speed. thanks Down South , for your assistance!
