Loosen locknut on prop on Merc.25hp

recently installed Solas prop 13p on Merc.25 hp and put new castle washer and new brass locknut
after riding around a while loaded up i noticed the locknut was loose. i tighten this nut up tight! it doesnt have a carter key
i wish it did!

Does that brass nut have a nylock insert?

Thrust washer install

Ive purchased a jon boat with Merc.25 hp and changed all fluids and greased it up! Took off prop to inspect . It had no key or castle washer just plastic nut ? It has thrust washer but after looking at it not sure if its on the correct way?

yes it was brass lock nut it came from Solas when i ordered prop
