I recently had steering cables replaced on my 2003 Triton TR-186 with Mercury XR6 150. With the new cables the engine "flip flops" back and forth while trailering. And, on the water, if you loosen your grip on the sterring wheel, the motor really wants to flop to one side or the other.. very dangerous in my opinion. The repair shop told me that's normal with new cables. I'm not real confident in that answer. Wonder if anyone has any thoughts on what might be going on. Thanks.
