Looking to replace Ignition switch for 1989 Sea Ray 220DA

Hello,
I'm looking to replace the ignition switch in my 1989 Sea Ray. Everything I read reads 1990 and up. I even got the number from the parts PDF on the Sea Ray site and can't find it anywhere on the internet.

There is nothing special about them unless they fit inside a control box, dash mounted switches are common.

Are you sure you have an ignition switch problem?

Is it an IO or an outboard?

Don I have a mechanical problem the key jambs going in and difficult to turn. I have an I/O. Thank-You

You only need 3 (assuming you have an IO), the 4 is for accessories. But, on marine setups, you do not run accessories off the key switch, there is supposed to be a separate panel for all your lights, pumps, radios, electronics etc.

You really need to give engine info on things affecting the engine. The ignition switch is definitely one of them.

Mine was doing that after i had the console out while putting in a floor. Got rained on a couple of times and didnt want to turn after I reinstalled it. I took some Teflon lube and smeared it on the key, after a little bit of wiggling it works fine.
