Looking to get a 2003 Chaparral

Hello, I am looking at gettign a 2003 183ss...it only has 35 hours on it and has a 4.3l Merc. It comes with a trailer, cover, SS Prop..and has 190hp...they are asking 16500 OBO...what should I offer them as a fair price for this boat?<br /><br />Does anyone have one of these boats how to the cruise? and what is the top speed with the 4.3l? <br /><br />It looks like a REALLY nice boat from the pics I have seen. Thanks!<br /><br />(P.S. i now my user name says 2003Rinker..I was going to get one but the sale feel through...)

I also found a NICE NICE NICE 2001 ssi (I think its a 190ssi) it has only 18 hours and has a 5.0l merc...Perfect they are asking 17500 OBO...what boat? what would be a fair price to offer them for this boat?

Just look around real good. I just bought a 2001 196ssi with 60 hours and a 5.0l merc with trailer for 12,500.(I got a steal) If you like the boat then buy it.

I have that boat. We love it. I have had it up to 50.
