To be honest I was born and raised on sand and dirt and have friends who have boats. I know how to service them and thats about the extent of my knowledge. I recently came into possession of this old ski boat through the wife's family. Now they have the title and all info as of now but I will be selling it. Was hoping to lean on the expert advice of this website(recommended by my boating friend) to see if anyone had an opinion of what she may be worth.
Any opinions or input would be greatly appreciated thank you!

What I know is that she obviously needs TLC inside and out. She does float no cracks. And the outboard is not currently running.(the extent of why the motor is not running is no knowledge to me) I'm going to assume worst case scenario until I get it serviced.

That looks to be an early 70's Avenger. The motor is likely '78-80 or so.

Not sure what it is worth, being so old. What is the length of it? 18'

You can search the Internet for same/similar boats. A quick search reveals 'as is' boats (boat/engine/trailer) at about $3K, restored/excellent condition at about $7,500.

In decent shape you might be looking at $5-6K. Since it needs some upholstery work and maybe a few other things probably a bit less . . . maybe $4-5K.

If you need to get rid of it, price it low in the range. If you can wait for the spring market, price it a bit higher in the range.

Do some of your own research though to see if you can get more 'data points'. BTW - NADA price guides puts it at about $5K FWIW.

and . . . Welcome to iBoats :D
