Looking for year of 70hp Merc

I am looking for year of an outboard that i have just acquired. It is a 70hp Mercury/Kiekhaefer<br /> w/s#1484133.<br /><br />Also, before i crank this thing, i would like to know the best way to supply water for cooling. there are no side vents above the prop area. Where is the water intake? Would a large drum suffice? Appreciate the info.<br /> thanks, paul
