I am looking for the parts required to convert a long shaft 25 hp OMC (1977 model year) to a short shaft. After screwing with the 9.5 Sportwin (that now runs perfect...like a top 
!), I ended up with a 1977 Johnson 25RL77S. Cost me $150. I'll spend that again, I know, to make it a short shaft but I don't care. I need a short shaft for my feeshin' boat and $300 ain't bad. The motor is presently separated (lower unit ready for reassembly to powerhead).
