looking to find a 21-28' bengal mfg. by tigercraft boat co. in fla. during 1970-1973. 21' center console and cuddy cabin models as well as 24' and 28' flybridge twin screw. currently living in texas and would like to find one. i was the builder and most were sold around fla and gulf states and east coast to boston. noticed comment from someone in biloxi who has one tunnel experiment craft i designed,would asppreciate ya'all info. thank you! richard

Hello.. I have a 1972, 21' Tigercraft Bengal c/c with a tunnel, although it is definately not original...

The years were not kind to her... Every inch of wood in the boat was rotten.. The top and the liner were cut out and completey re-fab'd....

Not 100% positive, but I do believe mine came with a 318 Chrysler... It now has a Ford 302...

I have quite a few pictures of my restoration/customization that i'll try to post here..

thank you for the photos and your time. you have definetly demonstrated your talents in building and restoration professionalism. she looks outstanding!you have a unique boat and hope she gives you all that you want. looking at interior strakes etc. reminds me of the many hrs. of effort and design changes we did. with a 318 we used a 1 &half to 1 borg warner reduction gear and swung a [prop?] sometimes cupped prop, many variations.prop positioniong vs strut angle vs eng wt. balance & position. sound level transmition thru tunnel many factors to had to consider. spent mos. on itercoastal waters and got to know manatoes by name and am sure theres a groove still in the marker chanels again thank you! for the pictures and feedback. if i can be of assistance to you and colleagues kindly let me know.

I have just bought a 1972 21 foot Tigercraft boat and would like to hear from anyone that has one. I'm in the begining stages of restoring it. It had a 302 ford motor and I switched it out to a 351 Ford. It has a 1to 1 velvet drive transmission and a 13x 11 1/2 prop. Any information would be appreciated.
