Don't know where you are located but try commonwealth boatbrokers.com. They are located
just outside of Richmond Va. and handle repo's from all over the East coast.

The best in there feild http://www.yachtauctions.com/ The standard here is ten percent over minimum bid but it all depends on how bad they wanna get rid of it, good luck!!

P.S. I bought mine from there California office, from my experience they are a class outfit.

Where are you and how far are you willing to travel? I know of places on the East Coast from Maine to Florida to the mid-west. I also know of a few places that take trade-ins that dealers don't want to fool with and clean them up and sell them. Also look at charity auctions, many boats on the coast are donated to charities for them to sell and raise money.

Dont know if this applies in the U.S. but a couple of the bigger insurance companies here put (good) repos and recovered boats on the market (most of them end up in boneyards).

The good ones are usually sold before they are advertised, all they are after is to recoup costs.

Might be worth an insurance company ring around.

How big a hurry are you in?

You probably want to do the same thing we are going now…renovate a boat you can vacation with and in?

JL57,

I am a second satisified customer with www.americanyachtsales.com They are just south of Houston, TX.

We purchased a 32' Chris Craft in Oct of 2002, had it surveyed, and shipped to Ohio (from Houston, Tx) Best deal around, bar-non.

Used the boat all of the 2003 season in Lake Erie and had no problems at all. Although it is a '97 model it looked brand new. The folks there are easy to deal with and communicate well using email.

Lots of luck finding precisely what you want, but be flexible - they have quite a large stock of popular boats and are usually eager to sell at less than NADA prices.

Time to get the bottom painted and back in the water !!

I don't know where your located but this dealer in North Alabama deals repo boats for creditors. His prices are high but he actually sells them for the creditors and said he can take offers to them. Also this site has boats of all kinds and dealers. Good site.

http://www.boattraderonline.com/dealer.html?735196
