Anyone spend much time with-in an hour or so of Neosho MO.????
Looks like I'm about 15-18mi from OK, and about 20mi from AR.
Moving there and need some help finding some places to go. Mo. site is about as clear as mud on this issue.
Of course my first choice is walleye, but I chase smallies, Largemouth, spots, strippers, whites, crappie, Northerns and I do love to battle with big cats..
ANY help or direction would be a great help!
Thanks folks! :)

Table Rock Lake is not too far from there, I don't fish, but know many people who do and there are always lots of people fishing every time I'm out. There are numerous tournaments and I think the smallmouth are quite abundant. Ifyou need any other info on the lake, I'm there every day I have off.

Re: Looking for info on SW MO. fishing

This thread has a little date on it, so I'm not sure if you'll comeback and read it or not.

I'm originally from the Joplin/Neosho area.

Table Rock Lake is a great spot. I've fished around the Shell Knob are a lot. It's about an hour drive from Neosho.

Another good spot that is even closer is Grand Lake in OK. It's not much more than a 30 min drive from Neosho. The only downside is that you have to buy an OK fishing license... but that isn't too spendy.

Hope this helps.
