Looking for info about 16-hp Spirit motor

We just bought a 16-hp Suzuki Spirit motor that didn't come with an owner's manual. The number on the motor are >601 and C-10188, but we don't know if these are model numbers, serial numbers, or what. Can anyone give us more info about this motor, or tell us where we can find more info? Thanks.

It's a 1977 and most parts will be discontinued.

http://www.brownspoint.com/store/pc/microfiche.asp is going to be your best bet for parts. It is a suzuki branded as an artic cat most part agree with the above you cannot get most parts for it. they are a good motor and the waterpump is available new and aftermarket.
