Hi im back again, this thing is a pain in my butt! first the info 95 bayliner 2050 ss 5.7l

So it turns out that i lost my keys to the boat over the winter. i have looked everywhere and have no clue where they are.......i even offered the kids a $20 reward if they could find them and were all at a loss. Im afraid im going to have to get a new ignition for it but dont know what to get. I pulled it out and there are no part #'s or any real markings on it beside an E4 on the side and the terminals have a B, 1, & S by them. I don't have a manual and the engine isn't the original the 5.0 was swapped for the 5.7 and i have no clue where the serial number is on it. hopefully someone can help and maybe ill get this thing on the water soon! Thanks

Hello, any type of 3 switch ignition will work. There is nothing special about an ignition switch.
Try typing this in Google: [h=1]Sea Dog Poly Marine Ignition Switch 3 Position - 3 Terminal[/h]
or, you can hot wire it everytime.....

The terminals on your current switch are "B" (+12 volts), "I" (not a "1") which provides 12 volts back to the ignition system on the engine. The "S" terminal is the solenoid connection. That terminal is active when you turn the key to start. So all you need is an ignition switch for an I/O. In fact there are dual purpose ignition switches on the market that can be used in either application provided you keep the wiring sorted properly,.
