Looking for feedback on a 2252

Does anyone out there have any experience with the 2252 Classic? I'm looking at a 1993. It appears to be pretty much unchanged over the years other than a bigger engine. I'll be looking to hang a couple downriggers off the back and do some trolling as well as cruising with my wife and daughter. I'd like to hear from someone who has this boat with the 4.3 merc. Seems maybe a little underpowered?

I have a 1992 2252 classic and a wife and 12yr old daughter. This boat fits our needs very well, we spent 2 nights 3 days aboard and everyone was happy. I did sleep the daughter on the aft seat, we have the camper enclosure. The boat runs great and I find it to have ample power as long as it is in good running condition. This is a great fishing boat very comfortable easy to handle, load and unload by myself. If you like to fish and want to take the family as well this is a great boat, just enough comfort and just enough not. Harold
