Hi Guy's,
First I want to say this is NOT a wanted ad, and please do not reply with "available for sale" type responces, as I am fairly sure that is against the forum rules.
This is NOT a Classifieds ad request.
What I am looking for is the correct Engine and Sterndrive, Shop Manuals (actual Mercruiser dealers manuals), for my 1972 120hp and outdrive.
I have been looking at Ebay, and there are many listed, but usually are identified as "Shop Manual #3, or #8, or whatever.
Often the descriptions do not specify years, or models that the manual applies to.
So can anyone here tell me what the correct Manual NUMBER(s) is for my engine/outdrive?
yes, I realize that I can call Mercruiser publications and purchase these books directly, (and it just may come to that),but at over $80 a pop,... I'm trying to see if I can save some cash by finding a used set on Ebay, or Amazon, or ???
Convincing the wife to ressurect this old boat AGAIN, is getting a little harder, and any nickle or dime I can save towards repairs or maintaince will keep me out of the doghouse a little longer.
If this post breaks any rules, feel free to delete it, and I understand and apoligize.
Thanks for any help.
Ron
