looking for an outboard to power my 16' open bow

I have a '75 Thundercraft Magnum 160 SS, it currently has a '66 Johnson 100hp (V4ML-12R). I haven't been able to get the motor started yet (starter solenoid and alignment are out) and was planning on doing a rebuild but have been told it'll be expensive so I'm looking into getting a different outboard. I love the way the Johnson looks on this boat and I don't like the tall outboards. I'm looking for a strong reliable V4 in the 100 -150 hp range that I can easily and cheaply get parts for.

90-110 hp is all that boat will handle. 80's up Johnson/Evinrude.

Thank you. Are there any specific models I should avoid (like units with electric shift, certain carburetors or ignition systems)?

'73 or newer is good. '78 or newer better (newer more common style TnT for one thing).
