Today was our first time out with a towable. My wife would go out with the 2 kids one at a time, 7.5yo and a 2.5yo... 7year old is no where near ready to go by himself. Looking for a stable towable that 2 people can sit in. Looking for something that can get up on plane without swamping the little one while mom holds on. Anyone have any suggestions?

There's lots of thing that can handle multiple people. One of many many sites is Overtons.com. Just go slow with the kids and wife because a lot of the towables talk about getting major air underneath. Major air means that eventually it will come back down to the water, and water hurts when you hit it at speeds.

We have 2 tubes.

One is a Speed Zone 2. A 2 seater, where the kids set down low, surrounded by the tube, with a neck rest. (Very nice tube).

The other is just like the Speed Zone 2, except it seats 1 person.

The first one mentioned, was pricey. ($200.00)

The other one was on sale for $99.00 BUT, when we bought it, we got a free rope.

We also use a bungee rope. We like it alot.

My $0.02
