I've always had skiffs and they're a piece of cake to maintain. Last year, we bought a 27 ft cobia walkaround and are looking for someone who does quality work - from installation electronics, to fiberglass work, installing a head, AC/Heater etc. I've put a lot of my money into this boat and I'd like to have it look finished and clean and professionally maintained. In Florida, there's plenty of quality places that do great work competitively. I'm learning that in the Northeast, it's just guys who slap things together and their work looks like that. The work gets done, but it looks like a hack job. Anyone know of someone who does good/great professionally looking work near NJ? Thanks !

Sorry... that’s a long from Illinois. if you hang out here very long, you find out that many people do their own work. I think it’s largely because of the problem you described.
