Hi everyone. So we just bought an 18.5 foot searay and we are looking for a gps fishfinder combo. Wondering if anyone has used this one

We are boating on the saint-lawrence river in Canada if that makes a difference and we were looking to spend under 1000 bucks.

Is Garmin a good kind or should we be looking at another company? Thanks all for your help once again. Very much appreciated

Garmin is a well known and trusted brand in the marine electronics industry. With a decent budget like $1000, you could probably find an even nicer model that that. Also look into Lowrance, Si-Tex, Humminbird, and Standard Horizon.

Here is a good site to start with. I thnk they even have a comparison page.
