With the value of the us$ could we get a better deal in Canada. Are there any places you recommend. Someone posted a Honda dealer with great prices. How about a new tdi Tohatsu90hp where to purchase.

There are lots of dealers in Canada, but I doubt that any of them will give you $3300 for your Force.

Plus you would have to deal with delivery/shipping, rigging, duty and tax on out of country purchase, and tax reimbursement of Canadian tax paid at time of purchase. You might get around some of these, but it would be a hassle, and require lots of comparison and leg work.

Bought 15HP, 4-cycle Yamaha from Riverrat Marina in Ontario, Canada on the St. Lawrence River.

Picked it up and drove back to U.S. with no problem. Service by Marina was excellent which I didn't expect because their price was lower than many other bids I got from both US and Canadian dealers. Good Luck. :)

your best bet is to buy from a place like I boats remember your buying over the internet and there are tax saving s to consider but if you choose to buy from Canada there are ways to get it shipped to you without duties etc..

1485? I have not seen any 96 outboards sell for less than 3k. I made an offer for a johnson that booked for $2800 and they would not take less than $4200.

You are not talking about a Johnson, you are talking about a Force. A little bit easier to sell than a Yugo.

Good luck. :)

Sorry, guys.

This is iboats' forum. iboats sells engines, new and used.

It is rude to discuss or recommend the competition.
