looking at new islander

I am looking at buying a new islander 242 with the 496 375hp I was just wondering how people like them. The dealer has told me that it will go between 65 and low 70's. I live in montana and boat at 3000ft above sea lever so I know thats a big factor. Just looking for feed back any help is appreciated. thanks

If it's fuel injected it won't be a problem. I loved my Baja I owned for 10 years. Mine went 65mph (GPS) and never once had a problem for the entire 10 year period. I loved launching the boat off a 3 foot wave and have the boat just settle back into the water and ready for the next wave. Very well made boat.
