looking at Hurricane

Looking at FD 226 OB Hurricane w/ 115 Yamaha.
what type of speed will this boat get?
Also looking at a pontoon, pro/cons Bennington pontoon vs Hurricane FD 226?
no fishing just cruising/fun South Florida east coast.

If I was to guess, I'd suspect mid-30s running a 115HP on that boat.

I ran a 115 HP on my Fundeck GS 170 and hit low 40s.

I don't know anything about toons so I can't advise, but the 226 is a great versatile boat. All the functions of a toon, but with a different hull so it's really a preference thing as to what you want.

They'll both serve your cruising needs.

NO problem..... and although I recommend the Hurricane (I`m a big Hurricane fan) I`ve heard great things about the Bennington toons so I don`t think you can go wrong either way.
