Looking at a pontoon w/ 06 115hp Optimax

I've been speaking with a guy who has a sweet looking pontoon. But it has a 06 Optimax that runs rough. He said he has replaced both fuel pumps, fuel/pressure regulators and fuel injectors. He says its proly the Direct Injectors. How likely is that? and how hard is it to do this on your own?

Edit: Its a 2 Stroke if that wasn't known!

Right on, yea its 3 hours away, rather not worry about it. Its a beautiful old fully restored pontoon but that engine blah! Ruins it all!
