Greetings All!

I am new to the forum (hence the large number of postings) and am considering this boat. It is a '91 170 w/ the 4.3 185hp motor. I have dug around the forum and found some general info on Sea Rays but not this particular year. It looks like it's in fairly good shape for the age but needs some interior work. I have been told to redo the interior will run about 1500-2000 bucks...does that sound accurate? Also, I know a little about the wood rot possibilities but have also read that the Sea Rays don't have too much wood? Any truth to that rumor? Anyway, thanks for the info!!!

Yes it has wood. Is this the boat in San Antonio, Timberwood? I am in Stone Oak and bought a 94 SeaRay 170 with the 3.0. I replaced the entire deck, some of the stringers and interior. There is wood, and yes the best interior deal in San Antonio is 1600 to 2 K. I shopped the southside too.
