lookin for info on 120hp johnson v4

im looking to buy a johnson 1990 120hp v4 25" shaft outboard i would like to know if this engine has a good reputation or bad and any known problems this all the info i have on this engine also if its hard on gas or not i would like to put it on my 1980 starcraft 21ft islander aluminum boat any help would be appreciated.thanks
