Congrats London. Now, show the French how its done.

Hmmm, this happened even after Chirac warned the world that the British and Finnish have the worst food in Europe. :)

Paris was winning, but at the last minute they surrendered.

RPJS,
Now, now in todays politically correct terminology they are "Non-Winners". Which, BTW is what appears as the meaning of the word French, in the dictionary.

Hay when can we set up our "Freedom Fries 2012" stand.....or would that be "Freedom Chips 2012" in London....

What would happen to the worlds athletes if Paris was taken by force by the combined armies of Luxenborg and Switzerland? Hell France is overdue by several years to be overrun.

Isn't the Olymipic flag white? Probably feel real nostalgic with a couple of thousand of those hanging from every window in Paris.

Congrat's London! Your class won you this competition.

Truth be told the French were doing well in the "contest" but when the media announced it would be a "battle to the finish" between London and Paris the French officials decided.....well it’s time to raise the French battle flag, which BTW has less color than the Olympic flag. The rest is much like French History.

That is an awesome point Nos4r2. Didn't an olympic shooter from the UK have to practice in the US a few years back because of the firearms policy over there?
