They've been around a couple of years now. Very intriguing. I was looking at one at the boat show today. It's amazing what kind of abuse it will take.

The company has been bought out by Genmar. That in itself adds some validity to the product. Irwin Jacobs does not invest his money in duds!

As far as the Suzuki, they're supposed to be great engines but I have heard a number of horror stories about the time it can take to get them repaired when they break.
The boat, it's supposed to be, pretty much indestructible although back when it was called Logic, a lot of people had problems with screws backing out after each outing I believe they've solved that problem.I saw a few of them at a boat show back in Oct. One of them a 21'? had a transom that was really uneven?(for lack of a better word). You could see and feel the waves in it.
I can't imagine how that would affect the ride if the bottom of the boat was like that(I didn't bother checking).
I was told by a rep from the factory that it's a result of the cooling process from the way they're made.(seems like it's not quite under control yet). ;)

Dunno about the ride. They boast about zero upkeep. And I don't doubt that they deliver this. That poly is stubborn stuff.

BUT - I would not order one. Buy one that is already in stock, maybe. Reason is, the early Logics had a bad reputation for hull distortion. The latest versions, Triumph, do seem to have this under better control. But I thought I could still see some twist in the ones on my dealer's floor. So you need to sort out a good 'un from the rummy ones.

Frankly, I would much rather spend the same $$ on a quality aluminum boat. Even for saltwater. If you have never tried aluminum, it is great stuff for a small boat.

Can't say that I am a Genmar fan. They seem to draw just as many complaints on message boards as the other companies.

There are owners of Logic boats that post on www.thehulltruth.com from time to time.

The usual 2 cents,
Kelly Cook
