Loctite on head bolts?

OK, ready to put head on 1987 Mercruiser 3.0. Do the head bolts go on dry, or should I use Loctite? Or oil? Thanks!

Ayuh,.... Permatex #3,.....Or pipe dope,.... those bolts go into the water jacket, 'n need to be sealed,...
