YB, it's a moot point anyhow. Both are out of stock!

Thanks Bondo I just got confused a little bit lol. Boomyal: I saw they were out of stock but I wanted to show an I-boats link other than a competitor, I'd rather buy from I-boats if avaiable anyways.

Some fillers do not have a connected vent.

As far as security goes, kind of hard to do. Your motors have fuel lines that are like having a built-in syphon hose for their use.

All they have to do is cut your fuel line, squeeze the primer bulb to get it flowing, and let the gas fall into a gas can.

Thanks Roscoe. I understand that all they have to do is cut it. It may sound silly but I'm just worried that somebody will throw some crap down my tank like rice, coffe beans, any old junk. My filler thing is obvious and says Gas on top and is all by itself. It's not my boat in the pic but it's the same exact gas filler setup, here is a link... Picture

People do that? I've never, ever, heard of anyone over here do that - maybe because everyone knows an engine failure could be fatal?

Re: locking gas cap

I've heard of it from some folks. It's mainly when I go to Laughlin or other large populated tourist areas where teens are running around doing stupid stuff. I don't want to get stranded on a river or hugh lake ex: trip Laughlin-Havasu via Colorado River 120+miles round trip. It's when the boat is parked in a hotel parking lot and I'm 16 stories up on the opposite side and can't see it at all.

Do you have a cover for the boat? They're unlkely to take the time to find the fill and remove the cover to get at it. Out of sight-out of mind.
