I am looking for a lock for my trailer that has the serge brakes with the flip up door style coupler. The flip up door is secured by a pin that doesn't go all the way through the coupler. I want to lock it while it is hitched to my truck. I did a search and didn't find one for this style. Thanks, dkidd

I believe the Durasafe dual arm unit would work, but was looking for a lockable pin type that would lock the pin into coupler and would prevent the door on top of the coupler from opening. A pin is inserted into the side of the coupler and keeps this door from opening. The trailer is a prestige. dkidd

The hole goes all the way through, right? I think you need a 3 1/2 inch span coupler lock. More rare but not impossible to find. If that's what you think you need, do a Google search for "TC3 Coupler Lock." It's a dogbone style long pin that locks through the hole across the coupler. Available in chrome or stainless.

Craze,<br />The hole does go all the way through the coupler. For some reason, I thought the hole was blind. The boat has been in the shop, so I haven't been able to look at the trailer. Thanks for the help, dkidd
