I was trusted to sell my fathers 14ft allum' boat. Took a local cop out for a test drive after demonstating just how easy it was to launch off the new trailer. He bought it great, no problems.<br />Next weekend, I'd just launched when my mate says isn't that your Dad's boat? I turn around to see just in time, the boat being launched by said local cop onto the ground about 20ft up from the water! He'd tacked off the safety chain and winch hook before backing down! Not a good time to see how he was enjoying his purchase and he looked like he was trying to hide with nowhere to go.<br />PS If you read this please note I left out all names and nobody should be able to identify you so please don't arrest me!
