Loading Really Slow Today

After last night's down-time. Is it just my computer? Long period of time looking at grey stripes on the screen - shades of the old IBM "blue screen of death."

Things are going slower because the IT guys are working on the database.

We're all getting that.. IT are working on a few changes, but in the meantime, it means a few things are going to get a bit scrabbled.. I know we keep saying it, and it's probably starting to sound a bit old, but "just hang in there"... (Just consider what we're going through. As well as all the usual posts and the like, we've gotta keep you guys in line, and kick the odd behind when they start grizzling about speed, or post counts, or ... you get the picture... I hope... )

All I can do is offer my apologies on behalf of the IT team. (And don't think we're letting them off light either... )

Not with all those idiots, knuckle heads, and nincompoops out there on the water. I let them have it in the summer and then I'll take it back over for the fall, winter, and spring when it's too cold and windy for bathing suits.

I just finished washing the wife's car and came back in to find the forum in the same shape I left it earlier... guess I'll go wash my truck now.:whip:

Still very slow, but actually better than yesterday.....so there's hope!

Very true, JnG. I only go out during the week in the warm weather for the same reasons. I don't mind the other guys fishing, we have the same intent. But the rest can have the lake all weekend. I think the forum may be speeding up some.
