Live well 1984 Aquasport Osprey.

I have a1984 Aquasport Osprey I bought a few years ago. It has a well for bait or catch under the front pedestal seat. There is a drain hole in the stern side of it. At home I filled the well with water and then pulled the plug. The water left the well but did not flow out the bilge drain hole. Where do you suppose the water is going and how do I get it out?

The drain should be plumbed directly overboard.

On a boat that old, the drain hose could have rotten or broken off and your dumping the water in the forward part of the bilge and the limber holes are clogged
