Live bait tank

Use to have a bait bag on transom, this time I want to build a round bait tank, on swim platform, have a round barrel 18 gal. will be removable. Will try to add attachment of my drawing, any other info. will be appreciated,don't know if you can see on attachment, but a removable pump 600gph on transom, overflow at top with screen. Will be used for anchovies. also a pic of the boat it will be on, 25' searay 1985

Looks like you have it all figured out but you may have problem with weight distribution. Also, I would install the pump above the water line maybe on the livewell and run the fill tube down the transom below the waterline with a wider opening at the inlet end and screen attached to it. Why immerse the entire pump in the water.

Anchovies like current/oxygen to go through their gills so you may want to put the tank fill tube at horizontal position to keep the water going around your circular tank.
