Little Big Econ Canoe trip info (Seminole county Florida)

Hey I'm looking for some info about canoeing the Little Big Econ in Seminole county Florida.

There is a put in place of 419 west of Chuluota and a place off Snowhill Rd down stream to get out.

Has anybody done it?
Any idea how long of a trip it is? Time wise.

Any info would be great, thanks in advance, oh and if you'd like to join us let us know.

We've done a lot of canoeing and boating down in that area, but not on the Little Big Econ....mostly over on the St.Johns River and it's tributaries. The Oklawaha River out of Welaka is a favorite of ours, perfect for canoes/kayaks, etc. You folks have fun and steer around them big 'gators!

Contact Sandy Point Progressive Sports in S. Daytona. They used to put on a crap load of canoe/kayak trips. They might be able to give you a little more info. I had a few friends that worked there and I know they ran more than a few trips out there.

I've done it many times in a jon boat, except the opposite way. We'd put in at the Snowhill road bridge, motor upstream and drift back down and fish. Shouldn't be more than a couple of hours in a canoe going downstream.
