List to port during accelertion

Hello,

I've been reading the post on the above topic but still have a question to ask. I put the smart tabs on my boat (24' Grady W/225) and notice that I have a pretty severe list to port when taking off. It will calm down once I trim up the engine and raise the bow. I've got the port plate down further than the starboard plate with the desire to raise the port to counter-balance the effect of torque of the r/h rotation of the motor. I still tend to trim the motor all the way in when taking off and then trim it out while running. I know I must be doing something wrong, or have the tabs adjusted improperly and wanted to get your thoughts.

Thanks,
Duke1

PS- the prop is an sst 14.5x19 and it reaches WOT on the money for the motor 6000. Oh yeah...it does not have a lean when going slow or still....only on acceleration, then a mild case while at speed.

Sounds like prop torque, try adjusting the zinc just behind the prop, looks like a small rudder, its adjustable to offset prop torque.or it may be a "hook" in the hull...but being a GW i kinda doubt it, try the tab adjustment first, reply back w/ results.

Make sure the leg is not too far below the keel. The cavatation plate should be even with the bottom of the keel.

Gents,

Thanks very much...I'll adjust the tab and report back. I'm also going to "zero" the tabs to the starting position mentioned in the install manual then work from there.

Thanks again,
