Has anyone had experience with the Liqua-Lube oil bath hub kit (www.liqualube.com)?

It's an oil bath like Turbo Lube, but uses your existing hub. Looks like it's been around for a number of years, mostly used by lake fishermen.

Any comments?

Re: Liqua-Lube ?

Liqua-Lube is the best hub lubricating system on the market. Have been an installing dealer for several years now and have had zero problems. If you've looked at their website, www.liqualube.com, you are familiar with the principle of synthetic lube used instead of grease. Unlike grease filled hubs, Liqua-Lube completely eliminates repacking. All that is needed is a lube change each year which takes only a few minutes and there is no mess. Each kit has everything needed for complete installation, including detailed instructions. If you need further info or have any detailed questions, don't hesitate to email me directly or DeAnn at the factory at office@liqualube.com. Phone number 800-561-9917. Should add that this system differs from Turbo Lube in that Liqua-Lube uses a synthetic lube capable of absorbing up to 30% of its own weight in water and creating more lube. It has the consistency of light motor oil-therefore offering less resistance to the tow vehicle. Also Turbo Lube does not provide any means to provide a perfect seal to the spindle. Some spindles have a very rough surface and will not seal without the stainless sleeve.
