Lipstick on a pig (manifold question)

Just painted up my manifold & parts so it's ready to go back together. Kind of reminded me of putting lipstick on a pig :)

Anyhow, I'm wondering if I should use RTV on any/all of the gasket surfaces or just put it together dry? It's just a Sierra gasket kit for an OMC 140 manifold.

If it was mine I'd use OMC gasket sealing compond on them.

I definitely wouldn't use silicone, I'd use Permatex avaition sealant on the end caps and riser gaskets, with the head-manifold gasket going on dry.

Or use what bobbie suggested, I've never seen/used it.

Nothing constructive to add, I just love the title. :D
